At MCC, we realise how difficult kickstarting a new social life in big Cities such as London can be for busy professionals who do not have much spare time to plan ahead for their social calendar, and it can be especially difficult to make genuine new friends if you are new to an area or country! MCC is an innovative Social Events/Networking Club dedicated to helping people make new friends and enjoy a great social life. The club is managed by the Entertaining London Group which is well known for organising thousands of successful Social Events and bringing thousands of people together in friendships, partnerships and marriages over the past 13 years.
The My Connect Club founder and CEO, Amelia Young, spotted the need, back in 1997 for a new-generation, fun, leisure lifestyle social club for busy people to meet up and make friends from all over the world. A club, pre-internet, that was genuinely fun and relaxed. For over 10 years, Entertaining London Ltd successfully developed and maintained it’s unique niche as the Capital's leading arts, nightlife, theatre, restaurant, sports and leisure club for the 20s/30s (up to early 40s) age range focussing on creating a community for its members. And pre-Facebook, in 2003, just before the advent of the social networking phenomenom, Amelia was the brainchild behind and creator of the UK's first social events with social networking website.
Fast forward to 2010, and Amelia and her MCC Team, Angelica, Denis, David have launched My Connect Club which is an exciting, contemporary social events site, dedicated to sourcing and organising great events for professionals, living, working, and relocating to London and the UK and providing a much-needed social platform for young people to meet and connect with new friends.
